It's a lot of fuss over not much, but it is a bit out of order prank calling a 78 year old man saying you've fucked his grand-daughter. (even if it turns out to be true)
Russell Brand is a prick anyway, he didn't even have to apologise for prank calling the police the other week, he does all this for the shock and publicity of it all anyway. Either way he'll make a lot of money out of it

Why fire them? They'd get jobs on C4 or ITV within hours of being sacked. They bring in viewers and listeners. The BBc would be shooting themselves in the foot for the sake of 10,000 moaners.

If they get away with it what are the police supposed to do when other people dont follow the law just let them go?

Wouldnt it be down to the people who edit the show,who are meant to check if its suitable or not?

i heard the radio show live i was on my way back from a fireworks evening, it wasn't shocking at all, i didn't even realise what was said until they both mentioned on air they might get into trouble. It was a saturday night about 9.30-10pm they were having a laugh, people need to lighten up

I laughed this morning when they said they had nwo had 10,000 complaints - yesterday it was only 4000 and Friday it was 2500.
This happened over a week ago, how can they only now be complaining - do people have nothing better to do.
Is there a transcript of the show section - I haven't heard it yet
