as per title lol. my gf bought me a watch for my birthday and its got a few light marks on the metal bit around the face. is there anything i can use to try and get rid of them?

i was on a pug site and a guy used a clay kit to detail his wifes phone, then polished it and it got scratches out so that may work... i am being serious

Toothpaste is a very fine abrasive, so it's the same as polishing scratches out of your car with compound really.
