Just been the local shop and i held the door for this old lady who was walking very slowly with a stick....
To my supprise she then (very slowly!) got into her car and drove off!!!
What if she had to do an emergancy stop? if she could not walk properly how is she gonna react in time?
I think old people should have to take there test again at a certain age!

Tell me about it, my grandad is a prime candidate for accident waiting to happen.
He can't see properly, he certainly can't react quick enough and drives far to fast for his ability.

I get realy realy  when i get stuck behind old people do like 18mph in a 30. But if i overtake them i feel realy guilty.

i mean in the same league as being dangerous, non have insurance and driving license etc, most likely no tax/mot on there cars aswell..
you see them about, can barely look over the steering wheel some of them..

yeah i have no drivers licence, insurance, tax, mot, drive drunken all the time.. and i am an imigrant... also everyone i know who is an imigrant has none of the things i mentioned...
u know thats just stupid! u watched roadwars once and there was a huys without all these things and u suddenly think that all people who are not english do that???

@ mk4_boy. You cant tar all imigrants with the same brush because some drive without insurance, license etc the same can be said for alot of UK drivers.
Back on topic: IME the elderly are shocking drivers, they have very bad lane disapline, they are oblivious to whats going on around them, drive too slow, obviously arent upto date with the highway code.
There should be a theory test every 5yrs IMO and possibly a refresh practical test imposed on anyone over 60yrs old.

last time i was in spain (not very long ago) they look at you like i do with imigrants in the uk...
i dont own any as such but all tax payers have there own right to say something
i mean we are paying for them to live over here!!

as far as i know, imigrants are tax payers, aswell as every working person in uk... all tax payers have to support 2 million of british people who take benefits from the the taxes.. and who is supporting who?
