Does it really matter?
There is no time you should stop, he is your dad.
Does it matter what someone else tells you how you should act?
But no, I don't kiss daddy, nor the other way.
Man hugs ftw.

Hopefully it will be taking seriously so hopefully it won't be a bad idea. If it turns out to be a bad idea i'll delete.

Yeah I cant quite fathom him out - I cant work out if he's just showing genuine affection but I find it a bit weird?

Neither it should be imo, you should respect your father for being strong and providing for you.....not for winching the face of you like some sort of creep.

I don't think there is a time you should stop.
Your dad is your dad at the end of the day, most have been there through thick and thin, made you, raised you, helped you through bad times. You should always feel you are able to give your parents a hug and a kiss just because your they're children

Can't remember when I stopped tbh, I still hug him every so often but our house is generally handshakes and high 5's when it comes to the men.

No idea, but you should never stop telling your parents that you love them. Ever. Even though they know you do.
