well a dont no tbh mate just when a turn left it like grinding noise had to be towed home mate said it drive shaft

how much u talking? how can u tell difernce between drive shaft and cv joint?

Unless your driveshaft has snapped which I doubt then it will be the CV joint, about £40 quid from a MotorFactors.

carnt remember if it was moving forward or back just no it was spinnin and making a noise av just changed all 4 tyres and there a little bit bigger someone said dat cud of dun damage or summart

The CV joint is at the end of the shaft and is considerably weaker than the shaft itself. It is far more likely that this has failed. You know know as soon as you disassemble it.
New tyres would mean that you don't break traction as easily, yes.

cv joint mate..can get them for about 30 quid...its probably the outer cv joint, but could be the inner

i have 2 drive shafts from a 1.6, they are just laying about so if you want them make an offer
