as the title suggests im soon going to be in the market for a sensible saloon car.. Only will have about 2k and i'll be selling the corsa's anyone got any ideas? Can't stand anything french.. Just not my cup of tea.. Any idea's peeps?

need reliable, cheap ish to run, and has to be 5 door.. Oh and not a diesle..
Do like that bmw tho just needs to be a 5 door

Depends how sensible you wanna go? I'd rather a newer shape bmw than the e36. Something like this maybe? 80k wouldn't put me off.

just get a vectra or an astra that won't cost there earth to fix if/when it goes wrong.

primera is a good shout, or an old accord or something. Maybe even a rover 600 with the Honda engine if you can find one.

That was my dad's old car, part ex'd it for a Mondeo mk3, garage was selling the Rover for £500 or something like that. Good motor, no rust at all and excellent condition. Looks best with someone 45+ behind the wheel though

The Vectra is a good shout. What about the estate version and go for the "Tourer" look with GSi kit

hmmm estate version would be good for if i have kids, but the saloon will do for now.. Not going to mod it at all well i'll try not to.. Just finding a bargin is really hard around here.
