Ok i received my 'second letter' for going 48 in a 40 today and they have gave me two choices:
1. Pay £60 and have 3 points on my license
Or
2. Pay £110 fora Speed Awarness Course.

pay £110 for speed awareness, if you take the 3 points its guna put your insurance up for the nxt few years so cheaper in the long-run for the speed awareness

I'd take the driver course, even if insurance didn't go up I don't know why you'd take 3 points
That's 3 points less you need to get to lose your licence.
