I think it looks pretty good tbh, cant complain when you want something fast on a budget though.

Also if anyone decides to say 'Acer's are shite' Ive had my boggo standard Acer for going on 3 years now and it hasnt put a foot wrong, not had to format it in all that time and never runs slow, apart from when its held back by its own performance

i lik acer laptops, gf had one. best advice would be to pop over to local currys/comet/pcworld, see if they are clearing anything out.

Answer me these questions then -

Do i need 1440 resolution?
Do I need 2ghz C2D with 800mhz FSB and 2Mb Cache?
Do I need 3GB RAM?
Do I need an independent GFX card?

edit - its gonna be used for internetz, wordz, videoz, photoz, musicz

If your happy with acer just go with it tbh.

looks pretty good tbh, and the spec aint too bad, Acer arent that bad tbh i got myslef an Acer tower few months back has let me down, until recently its over heating and freezing but its probably just a little adjustment i need to make, go for it!
