Lots of nice places to eat in sharm itself anyway. Food is so cheap that we didnt really bother eating at the hotel.
The go-cart track is immense aswell.

I wouldn't worry about the food complaints, all the reviews I read said we would get the shits, crap food etc, even at the hotel we stayed. Me and the ex were fine for the whole week, just obviously stick to tap water.

the quad biking is ace. i lost my bag/bag got swiped on that trip though. lost my camera, phone and wallet with £100 worth of currency in there. was fucking gutted about losing all my pictures most.
sharm is meant to have amazing dive sites but you'll have to do the introduction to scuba unless you have some sort of padi qualification. this means it might take up a few days of your trip. that is why i didn't do it as the ex was whinging about it. the snorkelling is some of the best i've done though. we saw clown fish in an anemone for the first time there. only ever seen that in marine tanks before. we also saw lyon fish as big as a basketball.
as paul says above you could go to luxor although it is quite a fair way away from sharm. i wouldn't do it unless i was there for 2 weeks as it will take up another couple of days of your trip.

Snorkelling is a definate must, it was simply amazing.
But yeah heading to Luxor is a few days of your holiday if you are staying in Sharm, it would have been good but we were only there for a week and I think it said 3 days or something.

As Joe said really.
I stayed in the Baron it was ace, really cheap, weather great, beaches great, sea nice shallow and warm-ish and clear!
GO to cairo if you want ot see pyramids, avoid at all other costs. Its disgusting.
I dont swim but GF did snorkiling and said it was amazing, famed for it out there.
4 of us ate out at Hard rock cafe in Naama bay we had booze starters and main courses for £26 english pounds
I would love to go again, only about 4hrs on the cigar tube in the sky too, so not jet lag etc. Best time to go is after some terrorist explosion as prices plummet.
Our 5star hotel B&B (not all inc) was like £600 for 10days

Lawrah has also been to the baron IIRC
