Goodyear Eagle F1's.

I used to have Rainsports, but much prefer the F1's - they seem just as good in the wet, better in the dry and seem to me to last longer too.

toyos are a lot softer tyres mate, but stick like shit to a blanket

for something a bit harder as stated your looking at eagle f1's, really good but quite noisy i found

or conti sport contacts? something like that..a harder compound

wouldnt rate any of the toyo road tyres i've tried for wet & dry.

Best i've personally tried is as most above. Uniroyal Rainsports... laster quite long, were good in the wet and as good as most tyres like toyo proxes in the dry. Good balance for UK weather.

tyre wall is very big and no good for lowered cars supposedly.

I had them on my old corsa trackcar for road use etc.... it was ok, that was prob lowered 50mm allround.

I prefer a bit more tyre than the fashionable rubber bands you some times see though... The car is a lot less 'crashy' over bumps.

yeh i agree, but the rubber bands are need when lowering unless your on coilovers and they just cost too much to set up right

what profiles are you talking about?

I had 195 45 with no issues what so ever... AVO fixed height (lowered) and then AVO coilovers. Never a problem with 195/45/15.

I think your prob refering to bigger wheels

I have had two sets of Yoko S-drives on my corsas, The grip level is unbeliveable in both wet and dry conditions. They last very well too. They have some wierd design which helps the tyre wear pretty evenly when you have increased camber angles from lowering. I would deffinately recommend them as you can pick them up pretty cheap. £37.50 I used to get them for (195/45/15)
