Listing a classified car ad is different from listing it as an auction.
Although free is better than paying, insertion fees are only about 10p anyway.

I've bought a 50" HD Samsung tv from a police confiscated goods ad for £50, probably not in the best nick but it will do for a ps3 tv.

Just clarify then, did you acutally get the tv for £50? or simply get a CD/Link/Information?

I got a TV, not the best samsung by no means, but I paid £66 after the delivery was added, this was about January'ish but I still haven't used it because I've not been at home much in 2008. So I could plug it in now and it could blow up or not even turn on, that is what I meant.

Fair enough , although that link John posted up is a classic. Wait till that CD turns up at that buyers house.

I've not read his link in detail, but I find it obvious that it's not an official police ebay auction, a friend of mine works in a police warehouse where all the raided gear goes, some of the stuff he gets is ridiculous and apparently there is a cap on the amount they can get for them aswell.
