Im basically going travelling and Il have a bit of spare cash I want to keep for when I return to give me some options

what would be my best bet?

there was an article a month ago saying that you'd have been better off buying 1k's worth of larger than shares as the scrap metal from the cans would be worth more

Sit on the laptop allday buying shares and selling day to day, watch the market for a week, take in the patterns and invest in the ones that are constantly up and down, invest when they're 'down' and cash in when they rise, tbh it's pointless doing it if you can't sit there for atleast 4-6hours a day watching it.
