thatll be plenty big enough, you might be worth while looking for one that has a detachable smaller bag for any trips you might go on and not be able to take the huge one with you.

The one thing I've found with bags is, the cheap ones fall to pieces. For one that size I wouldn't spend less than about £50 on it. Though the one you posted does have a tenner knocked off so it should be ok. It's a bit of a generalisation, but the zip always rips off the day before you fly home, or the strap breaks at the bus stop when you're in a rush and it's a pain in the arse...
Go look at them in a shop and check the material thickness and how good the seams are because there is nothing worse than a broke bag on a trip!

Check out Deuter rucksacks mate. they are the bollocks! http://www.deutergb.co.uk/
i've got a trans alpine 30 for when i go mountain biking and it is the best quality i've seen.
http://www.deutergb.co.uk/products/all/Bike/All_Bike/deuter_Trans_Alpine_30/15/
costs a fair bit at £65 but worth it when you see the quality. obviously it wont do for your travels, i was just trying to give an example.

i Bought one last year for when i went travelling, was about £120 made by berghaus.
Was like 150 litres, wilth built in wheels to pull along like a suitcase but can go on your back at the same time.
U could fit a small person it it lol
Berghaus rucksucks have good durability and can take being thrown around.

I'd steer clear of the Regatta tat.
Go for a Karrimoor or Alpine Lowe
Will cost more but will last. I've got a 50L Alpine Lowe that i've abused, but its still going strong.
I'd suggest about 65-80L for backpacking. Anything bigger is going to be very heavy and a pain in the arse.
