I would get an alpine unit with one of there proper links. You got to think, if you have this unit (if your like me) then you will always be leaving the ipod in the headunit, some chav comes along and nicks it, so they then have your headunit and ipod!

get a £150 alipne unit and spend £20 on the ipod lead for it
however, my missus used to have a fusion headunit and it was quite tidy for the price of it

I had the older version of that head unit. It was in the car less than 24 hours before it caught fire
You get what you pay for and the fact that Fusion is pushed as the best you can get by Halfords should give an indication of the quality IMO

Faulty intenal wiring in the unit. Caraudiodirect were brilliant though and sorted a refund straight away.
Personally I'd go with alpine as they're the only brand I haven't had trouble with.
Will have Macintosh one day though

iv got it and its fantastic, the crap they sell in halfrauds is there lower end stuff which gets them most of there money, this headunit ties in more closely with their higher end stuff, the SQ is fantastic as is the user interface.
