spent the day at santa pod running my standard 1.6 corsa. It'r full fat with air con the lot. Was running high 16's is that bad? Or about right?

My mates standard GSI ran a 15.9. Just for comparisons sake.

There's alot of contributing factors towards these times though. Driving style, the weather plays a massive part, even things like how much petrol you have in the tank can make a difference.

i did a 16.7 at pod in feb of this year.

1.4 sport with filter and decat exhaust. All the usual crap like interior, half full of fuel etc. Just your normal road going car with alot of miles

High 16's is normal mate a standrd GSi breaking into the 15's is almost unbelievable!

16.1 was my best in my gsi running 125bhp. Reckon I could go a little quicker if I learnt to drive better

I was shocked too - I think it was over fuelling quite a bit but I'm not sure if that would make any difference.

my best so far is flat 15.00 but not done a run in a while and that was at the lovely crail

well the model of my car on the logbook says corsa sport 1.4i ... just says 1998cc in the box under it

well i dont think my car is capable of doing any quicker than a 16.7. I had the launch pretty much as perfect as you can get in a 120k car Clutch was still pretty strong, i rekon with out interior and less fuel maybe 16.5 but i dont think the car is phisically capable of going any quicker!

i was launching pretty damn hard and they were good runs. I'm also 15's buh i dunno lol time to strip all the extra's like air con power steering etc lol. See if i can go quicker next year lol

Ive just been today, 16.4 in a 1.6 with Ported and Polished Head, Fast Road Cam's , dbilas uprated manifold , dbilas software upgrade , Longlife stainless steel exhaust , lightened fly-wheel., Pro-tech 4 branch
