I got done doing 51 in a 40 through a temp speed restriction on a motorway, no road works, no other cars about. Gutted 3 points £60 fine, no idea what another 11mph on top of that would be though, sorry.

easily done mate... hmm...

3-6 points max i'd say? not a amazingly large fine either.

you may be lucky and ask to get 4-5 instead of 6.

Sounds like one of them roads with a stupidly low speed limit that is capable of alot more hence the camera being there to catch you!

I take it you have been driving long than 2 years?

it is a massively big road, USED to be national speed limit, now a 40. il settle for 3 or 4 points and a fine.

i would go for 3 points and £60 fine, usually anything over 30mph over the speed limit then you go to court etc

3 points I would think, I got caught doing 21mph above the limit and just got the three points...

i got caught a few years back doing 69 in a 40
got a court summons pleaded guilty
got 5 points and a £300 fine

i was very lucky to have kept my liecense i feel

the limit is up towards bray end past the cricket club. be very careful. the letter came in the post today. guna fill it in and send back asap and see what they say.
