you're coming into sale season which means 2 things:
1 - prices both online and in shops should be better
2 - no one seems to stock any half decent shorts; the best time to buy board shorts is at the start of the summer season

do they need to be brand names? Republic are quite good for stuff like that and normally have a sale on www.republic.co.uk

mate wear what you want, most of the locals will think you're a pranny for trying to fit in anyway. Republic is all you'll need though mate

always makes me laugh in board shops at the end of the season, when literally all they have is xxxxL and there's very little adjustment, you couldn't have a belt to hold them up etc! but its alright cause they're £5.00
