i have seen it before! But from memory, why does he used decarbonated water or what ever it is and then wash the car on the road?

De-Mineralised or De-Ionised Water.

Its so that when you rinse and the car dries, it doesnt leave any water marks.

You can get the same effect with bottled water (cheap stuff from Lidl).
