Apparently October is black history awareness month.
Theres posters up in my place of work , & there was some diddy going round giving out information cards & stickers.
 Why 
When is White mans history month? Oh no wait that would be racist!!

It means nothing too me either really but I had this pushed infront of my face while eating my lunch in the canteen minding my own business.
imo stuff like this sigles out blacks. Why do they need a month names after their history

We have a coloured girl staying with us just now, i tend to stay out the road of her in case i make a faux pas.
I mean, am i allowed to ask her to shine my shoe's? or is that a no go area?

This has nothing to do with skin colour its the fact there highlighting this & makig a big deal & going out their way to have black history month up in neon lights. If its meant to be equal these days then why are there thing like this happening?

its like the token black man in adverts and TV programmes, I think there is nothing more insulting than some one saying "listen make sure you have a black man involved" sort of creates a problem I reckon
