Any of the Scottish lot on here been doing there written assesments for the Fire Brigade this week?

Had mine yesterday and it was a bit of an eye opener...

Done it once before, there seemed to be alot of guys trying for 7/8th time. I didnt get far!!

Very hard to get in nowadays and imo for the amount of times you try and what you put in the pay isnt that rewarding.

They are 3 types of people who get the jobs Ex-Forces,Women and Black/asian.

I dont, this is my 3rd time.. Colin i'd love to go offshore but just dont want to spend 2k doing my training to find I cant get a job..
