In january once i turn 18 I've planning to get a corsa D on finance
I Know, I Know........What do people think of these?
I was goint go go with the 1.3CDTI model and then attach the DTUK box on it to give it some extra to occupy me for a while also Magnex exhaust and other stuff - I dont know much about the spec of them and what comes with what, so need some help here haha.
Also any 1 recommend anything else, doesnt have to be new but no more than 1.4 and about 6000 budget on finance for the corsa but about 4000 for older stuff cheers

On a Corsa D forum, most drivers and even 1.7 CDTi drivers were saying the 1.3 CDTi is a better engine and such. Quite a bit more power than the 1.3 found in the Corsa C.
Personally, I wouldn't get one on finance - there is so much more out there for that sort of money than a Corsa D.
If you go for the Design model I think it'll have half leather etc. SXi has the usual 'sporty' fixtures & fittings.
Go on the Vauxhall website - it's the current model so you'll get a good idea of spec & prices etc.

agreed if you don't have a steady income and can easily afford repayments.

You can get a 1.4 16v SRi 54-plate Corsa C for about £5k now, so when you're talking of buying, they'd be cheap cheap.

Go for the 1.4 SRi then. Saves spending the money on a 1.2 SXi to make it look as good as an SRi.

Have you got any quotes on things like that though? also, as Deano said, you could find a 1.4 sri for that price.

Just don't get finance. You'll totally regret it.
My missus nearly did when she turned 18, but she kept getting refused. She has just turned 21 and realise she'd have only just stopped paying out £250 every month for the privilege, as well as insurance & maintenance.
Unless you're Ben G and get a cushty little number putting Meccano together for a living, don't get finance.

True, I would much rather get an older C and have no debt to it each month, plus I think the C is much better looking than the D.

I had a battery operated drill for my metal Meccano, so much quicker
Anyway, if you've got your heart set on a Vauxhall, get a C and pay for it outright, don't finance for a D.
