how long should it take a garage change a clutch on a corsa? theres only 1 mechanic there, and hes got a helper too! any ideas? cheers

I left mine at 9am and picked it up at 3pm and he said it had been ready a while.

depending on what engine you mate as most garages are able to do it without takingg the gearbox out i believe

my old sport got a clutch done, took 3ish hours i think, skinned me £250 or around that too

Book time's 3.7 hours, real time's 2 hours mate.

all goes on tools to hand, on ramps or not, and if luck is on ur side, 2hous if all those things in place and obviously experience

Its an easy job. Good money makers they are hardly anything to take off. You can do it on the deck with ease.

i spent close to a month on mine thats what hapens when you find out u need to do more things to ya car and u cant be bothered

my record on my own car, by myself gearbox out in 34 minutes...

aiming for 30minutes

i changed mine on my back in 2.5 hours
on a ramp in about 1.45
