My first thoughts are that the figure of 84 is fly, but we've been there recently and it wasn't pretty.

What's higher? At the fly or the wheels?

I'm sorry, but a 1.2 8v is 45bhp standard. I'm no engine know-it-all, but I'm sure it couldn't make any of those figures. . .

I met a guy once who ahd spent a fair bit on his 1.2 8v engine. Said it ran about 90bhp @ fly and had similar spec'd engine.

I found this believable as it nearly kept with my 16v 1.4.

1.2 8vs are 45bhp at fly standard

84bhp fly would be more believable for this

you said it must be 80 odd bhp at fly, but that would mean about 50bhp at wheels, and a 1.2 is over 50bhp standard so obviously it cant be that..

id say its about 105bhp at fly and about 75bhp at wheels max as like i said hi-techs rollers are out and got to take about 15bhp to get a real figure..

1.2 8v is 45bhp.

1.2 16v is more than 55bhp (55bhp being the 12v).
