I got issued with a £80 in the week for the police catching me weeing behind a dumpster in town.
I didnt get my hand stamped when leaving the club to get some food and they wouldnt let me back in.
Has anyone had one of these or know of anyone who contested it, as i thought i was taking reasonable steps to go out of public sight (ie behind a big dumpster) as not to alarm anyone.

No point in contesting it, you were in the wrong got caught and would lose any appeal

I can imagine what the magistrates might think when you plead your case as to why it was right to piss in public.

I also got fined £80 for that, @drunk and disorderly' just pay it and dont do it again (well at least dont get caught)
Worse thing is, it would be cheaper to piss yourself and throw away your jeans haha

The man's user name is charcoalgrill Mister B.
He must surely have BBQ on the mind at all times.
It could well be a subconscious thing and simply out of his hands.
Unfortunately for him, the same cannot be said of his penis, near eagle eyed coppers.

section 5 - uses behaviour likely to cause alarm, harassment or distress within the sight or hearing of others likely to be alarmed, harassed or distressed.
you are bang to rights. contest it if you wish. you have a ticket for an £80 fine at present, and NO criminal record from it. Go to Magistrates, you will be looking at a fine of £120+, £15 victim surcharge, likely to get a criminal record for it too, oh and you will get in the local paper so your family, friends and colleagues will know you think it is unfair to be done for pissing in public.
learn a lesson, pay the fine, and piss before you leave the club!

If you've still got your receipt for your kebab, keep hold of it.
It will be useful in court.

Yeah, take it on the chin and dont do it again. Theres a scheme in place somewhere where the police who catch you make you clean it up there and then, needless to say, a lot of people stopped doing it.
