prefer it over the conservative mk5 looks wise.

Interior lacks any kind of styling flare

Looks much better than the std Mk 6 but still bit iffy, nice in white though... shame they have lioterally just treated this as effectively a facelift

Can't see much difference other than the Scirroco headlights which improves the front end a bit.

Its really is just a facelift though......

No, it's really not, I'd imagine every component is different, the only thing the same is the fact the wheels are round.

No 6 cylinders again according to most of the mags, just an "R" version with a hefty power 4 pot turbo

R36 Golf would have been awesome.
