i had one up until a few months ago, was the 1.6 petrol version 100bhp.

wasn't that fast on motorways but down country lanes it was brilliant. handling was spot on as i lowered it with eibach springs, was like a go kart with 17'' wheels on.

nicely styled to and can pick them up cheap.

look in my garage for inspiration

As fast as a 1.4 sport.

Only one worth while getting is a facelift as the pre-facelift dont have as nice dash/dash clocks.

oh and the seats were very comfortable, the half leather was a nice free extra.

only thing is that they sit at quite high rev's and only have 5 gears so at 70mph the engine noise is quite loud.

can get 125mph indicated speed quite easily, which is more than enough.

The TDCi has more torque than the ST

The TDCi version has £35/tax though. I know I'd rather have that over a 1.3CDTi Corsa.

I really want one of these, petrol or diesel next year. Yes, I am considering the petrol

Although the pre and post facelifts are essentially the same (same tax brackets, engines etc) the interior was updated. If you find a facelift (one shown) without half leather, you've done well. Everyone I've found has either half or full leather.

Every pre-facelift I've found has cloth.

if you do get one, make sure it's got half leather.

cloth is gay and full leather is £600 odd iirc

These are, however, still quite expensive compared to say, a Corsa C SRi. Especially the diesel variants.

ben that white one you had was stunning it looked perfect.

there only 5bhp slower than a 1.6 sport.

will it feel a bit quicker than my 1.2 8v corsa?

i dont really need a huge powerfull car tbh i dont do many miles.just need something nippy.

im considering one of these over the 1.8 sri corsa because i keep looking at the corsa c and they are starting to look a bit boring to me at the moment.
