Nice to drive, but the interior is pretty flimsy, brakes are a bit naff. I like them though.

they are loud (well the ones round here are), will obviously have more problems like rusting etc and don't look modern, and a lot of people will buy a car nowadays just because it looks nice.

Drove a standard Cooper S for a day and had a whizz in a convertible S with over 250bhp.

Great fun cars and are hyped for a reason. Room upfront is great but for rear passengers there may as well be no rear seats

thing is with them Cooper S' only get 18 to the gallon, women at work had one she liked but cost her a bomb in fuel, nice cars but dont think i'd have one myself, nor the cooper would like to take the new Clubman for atest drive

Put the crack pipe down I say.

Very capable cars. Prefer 1st Gen Cooper S and styling over 2nd gen. The turbo on 2nd Gen is far too brutal. A Cooper S is on the potential shortlist to replace the 197.

Same, as in prefer the 1st gen to 2nd - going on looks anyway, never been in a new shape one.

Mini GP FTW, a mate's got one and it's absolutely.funking.rapid.

And the noise nearly makes you sex wee yourself.

EDIT: had to add a pic
