I just heard two bumps as Robin and JR both fainted due to a massive disturbance in the force. I am at risk of doing same.

weeeeeeeell......apparently jimmy mcrae crashed his porsche and walked to the finish. Nobody told the other officials that he was ok so they stopped the stage to try and find him because his car was crashed off the road somewhere unknown. So then someone called 999 and 2 fire engines and a major incident fire truck came aswell driving along the stage, then over the radio we hear one of the fire engines crashed (probably trying to rally it) so the stage got held up again, eventually the officals canceled stage 5 because of the time wasted. only 18 of of more than 100 cars finished stage 5 (the last stage of the day)

its just to break the timing beam. its lined up using the plate at the front for the start, then that same plate breaks the beam at the end of the run - giving an accurate and fair time/
