Was on ebay last week, put my bid in, was outbid but didn't meet the reserve, guy offered me it and I said no he'd never get what he wanted.
Stuck it back on ebay, put in exactly the same bid and won it
So smooth to drive, same official 0-60 as the clio but it's much faster when on the move and doesn't sound like it might blow up, which is a bonus.
Went up the old campsies there to get a couple of pictures before I clean it all up.

And some random pictures I took while I was up there.

It does look a bit dated tbh, I would rather have had a 9-5 but the price, mileage and condition of this were too good to pass up.

I've no idea what they're called either tbh
Guy had just had them refurbed and wrapped them in some brand new ditchfinders.

i quite like that mate. think it's the wheels that make it look
hate the wipers on the headlights though much prefer hidden ones.

They wipers should sit down on rubber stops at the bottom, no idea why they're there, i'll investigate next week.

Very nice.
A mate has just brought one too - W plate which I think he got for £3500 too!
Has been chipped by Abbot Racing and was R/R'd the other day with something like a 25% increase in torque
Random Q - Has your's got the broken climate control screen?

That's a 51 plate and only has 45k miles, had only done 7k by its first mot.
The climate control screen works fine but the sid has the missing pixels.
If you search for sid on ebay you'll find a guy that fixes both
I'll be getting a mapped ecu soonish, there's no cheap way to do it, it's at least 400 quid.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-SAAB-SID-2-9-5-DISPLAY-UNITS-WARRANTY-4-LIFE_W0QQitemZ140270818995QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item140270818995&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1308&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
Guy that had mine replaced the SID with the model below so i'll need to get the proper one
