Can anyone tell me whats the best way to stop it fading pink all the time. Love my Corsa 1.2 16V but i hate when the black bumper strips fade and the actual red turns slightly pink.

I have this trouble.
Other than getting it professionally treated, then maintaining it regularly with plenty of wax, it won't be stopped.

I do like work. Just T-cut didn't seem to work. Pain in the arse because of the black rubber trims even when I did mask it up.

Except not in that order
Give it a good wash, clay bar, T cut it (if its in a bad state), then 1 or 2 goes with the SRP and finish off with a decent wax with a UV inhibitor (poorboys/colinite 476, or AG High def if your feeling rich).

Yeh that was in no particular order lol
But if it was me I would give it a quick swill, then proper wash, then t-cut then wash again, then clay bar, and then polish and wax

there are two types of t-cut
generally application and a colour specific, i'll get the Nova shots up when i get chance!

If it's oxidised (ie. fading and going pink) then it's not a case of respray.
The fading is caused by the top few microns of paint being bleached by the sun and in turn drying out the oils in the paint hence giving it a faded look.
A machine polisher with a good cutting pad and compound will take back the few microns of paint needed to reveal fresh paint underneath.
Top this up with a glaze that restores the paint oils and then seal with a UV resistant sealant and job done
Haven't got pics to hand atm, but worked on a 1994 BMW 3 series that had lived in Malaga all it's life but was brough back over here last year when the owner moved back to the UK - was meant to be blue, after a days solid work, it was again

Let i dry to it goes hard and untill its a real paint to get off - rub hard to get it off and polish the panel with a cloth or what ever and it wil come up a treat!
Can you tee cut of what have you first but it worked fine on mine even though mine were going pinkish

Ah i've just remembered, your other option if your feeling brave is to wet sand the oxidised panels and then polish it.
Basically all you do is starting from a fine grit, rub the affected areas down using wet&dry (very wet) and work your way through a few gardes till its as fine as possible. Then give it a polish over with a light cutting compound. Then seal/wax as per usual. It'll bring the car up a treat but its not for the light hearted.

The T-cut specifically for red paint brought our Flame Red van up a treat. The roof was virtually white but it came out really well. Apart from when the sun baked it on and it was impossible to get off, it still remains half done

If you leave it till that point you just end up scratching the fook out the paintwork by scrubbing the polish off!!
