just started college and ive been giving a list of things to buy for my course. nisbets sell a special set of knives chef whites etc fr sudents at a really really low price. however after a week of trying to order i found out the only way you can buy it is through thew post. what i wanted to know is how long does it normally take for an order to arrive. need the kit next week badly.

We used to buy most stuff from there at the old place I used to work at back in the day. The old Chef used to rave about them, and everything we ordered turned up in good time and it was always good stuff. If that helps?

Nisbetts is a mail order company, of course you can only order by mail.

It also depends on if you have an account with them I would guess. My missus is a hotel GM, they buy quite a bit through Nisbetts and we used to use them when I ran a restaurant/pub.

Delivery was always good and on time and never had any problems with them

I have two knive sets now; nearly completed the Global set and have a full roll of Victorinox

I've spent a small fortune tbh; the missus buys me one for every Birthday/Christmas/Valentines etc but they are pretty damn cool

Its the only thing I collect though! Well Global knives and Cuff-Links

I use them all the time.
Catalogue has everything you need.
Very competitive pricing and if you find it cheaper anywhere else, just call them for a price match. Usually cheaper too.

Great delivery service.
