TBH its one of the most advanced pieces of technology we as humans have ever built - to expect it to work perfectly first time is stupid.

i just find it funny thats its broken just over 2 weeks into it.
i know its still in the early stages (although this is the second times its broke with similar problems).
hope it does work in the end . Just slightly amused that its broke with in 3 weeks.

Surely they just unplug it at the wall and give all the plugs a quick blow? That's all i do with gadgets and it usually works.

also ask them if they've tried blanking off the EGR valve cosmo. or at least taken it off and cleaned it up alittle
