basically got in a scuffle the other night and got kicked in the head

since then i have been getting head aches but its like a strain headache at the bottom of my head near my neck could it just been like where ive been kicked or damaged somthing

Muscle Sprain most likely. Given the recent trauma. Rest and Pain killers should take the edge off.

Rarely intracranial bleeds, alarm bells ring if you get noticeable one sided weakness, disturbance of your vision or get suddenly drowsy. (In such a case, get someone to give you a lift to an A&E dept.)

Avoiding getting kicked in the head is generally a good move from a headache prophylaxis perspective.
