driving down the main road near my house about half hour ago, its a 30mph limit.
two wannabe coppers (PCSO's)  standing at the side of the road, one with a sorta speed gun thing, one with a pen and notepad, i was doing 35mph/ish and as soon as i saw the high-viz's i slowed to 30mph, they werent pulling anyone over just making hand signals at the cars, holding up 3 fingers etc maybe indicating its a 30mph or i'm going to get 3points 
do you reckon i'll get 3points n a fine?!

been in the same situation...wanna be wanker with a speed gun, was going faster than 30, never seen anything of it and this months ago

o rite cool, cheers, hopefully they were just surveying peoples speeds down there and whether or not theyre going to put a permanent camera along there.
although if they are actually going to be giving out fines to everyone that went past quicker than 30mph they'll be millionaires, the car in front was given the hand signals etc aswell.

you have to be stopped to be able to recieve any points or a fine.. you may get a warning letter in the post but thats about it

yea i think the wanna be coppers are the same as the general public doing it, think it 2 or 3 times you have to get caught then you get points and a fine

Do not worry to much, after 14 days forget about it, at the very worst 3 points but your speed was not to bad probably just scare tactics on there part.
