Can she have them back or are they registerd to me know as they are currently sitting on my car! What the law behidn it all?

I think the law says something about not caring about stupid childish arguments.

The plates belong to whoever's name is on the certificate. If your bird wants them back and it's got your name on the certificate then the matter is civil and she will have to take you to court if you don't want to give them back, much like in divorce procedings.

They are registered to the car so whoever is the registered owner of the car is the holder of the plates would be logical in my mind. No Im not going to read the DVLA page
