As title. I have found a course I would love to start this educational year....I think I may have just left it too late though Can anyone help me out? Its in Swansea Metropolitan Uni

Ring them in the morning and ask? Im at Lincoln and we have all enrolled this week, so you may have left it too late. I know some places arent going back till next week or maybe week after that so you may be in luck

Our students dont start until the 29th, best thing to do is ring up the department and ask them. Most the time they will have spare places and will be more than willing to accpet. Unless its a popular course.

It fell through in Kent

Made it from the pool of 300+ applicants to the final 8 so its not that bad. Just feels like I have wasted £400 going down there twice

Onwards and upwards though, got a couple more interviews lined up

Yeah still in the same field.

I was the youngest by far and had no experience compared to everyone else at the assessment day.

So pretty proud that I got as far as I did

Found a graduate position in Stratford-upon-avon which I can hopefully get an interview for. But not quite as 'south' as Kent

Sorry to hear that Doug, I hope you get something sorted

They are letting me sit in on two courses for the first couple of weeks, a Foundation Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a HND in Motorsport design and engineering. I then have to decide which one I want to take full time based on which one i'm more suited to. Today has got to have been the most strangest day of my life

Rob, give me a shout mate - I'm in Swansea University. Its not the Met, so not the same uni, but they are about 3 miles apart.

I'm doing Mech Eng here too, just starting my 4th year of my Masters.

Any idea where you're living or anything? When you moving down? Get here ASAP, freshers weeks starts Monday!!
