15/40 here although vaux would have put 10/40 in it.
Both are fine tbh

i just get 10w/40 from vaux. pretty much the universal oil for all vauxhalls!...altho older ones like the thicker oil...

you could try silkolene pro s 10w 50 and or silkolene pro r 15w 50 fully synthetic racing oil,
if you have a oil and is rated at
5w 40
10w 40
15w 40
20w 40
these are all the same thickness the w rating means cold cranking measured in centistokes the w rating does not mean winter ,
then if you have a oil that is rated
5w 40 and a 5w 50 the 5w 50 is thicker
