I'm going to view an E30 tommorow morning. In an ideal world I would have a 325is but there going for silly money at the moment.

The one I'm going to see is a 318is so still has slipper etc but a bit less power.. Anyone had one or driven one, dont want to buy it and regret it straight away..

Was it your mate who had the 325is? Lovely cars and even the 318is is getting more desirable now. About 140bhp iirc probably still fun but never as much as the straight 6 would offer

318is was often referred to as the baby M3 in the press.

Yeah was the 320is.

Its rare to find a 318is with a slipper. dont assume it has one as standard beacuse they are rare to find on them

Everyone thinks they have them as standard, like they think all 328i sports have them

They are rare on all of them.
