My friend has a 04 plate clio and thinks the stereo is bigger than din size.

Do you need an adaptor to fit a din size stereo?

A standard Din radio will fit, however you will be able to see the frame and everything so will need to buy a adapter (piece of rectangular plastic) which pushes over it and fills in all the edges.

That's the same in any car though, you get a surround with the radio.

Its single DIN, the stereo fascia surround will hide the cage etc..
