it adds fuel air, that combusts and keeps the turbo spiining thus boost is ready all time, but downside it shortens the life of the unit

Feeds air straight to the exhaust system, helps eliminate lag

well to get anti lag u need a modified iscv and throttle body to allow more air in when the throttle is shut, aytou also need the right magament that will run antilag as it need to retard the ignition timing and the fuel timing so that the fuel and air mixture is put in to the combustion chamber when the exhaust valve is open so that the mixture goes in tho the manifold and burns with the heat of it and by burning here it keep the turbo spinning up. i have an article on this in a old performance ford mag somewere it explains it alot better.

No Kurt.

You wish for it and the Ant-lag fairies come down and magic it onto your engine.

yea i aint got a scanner tho so cant scan it in so people can read it and cant be bothered to go hunting ofr it aswell lol. but iwhat i said basically out lines how it works, so if you were running a let and aftermarket management and got the throttle body and iscv modified to run it you could. quite easily

You'd have to rebuild all the time, you can't have it on a car you use as a normal car.

you can have it on a car you use all the time mate, just need to make sure that its built proper with the right parts in the right places before you put it on it, wouldnt actually need that much uprating as it doesnt put alot ofo stress on the engine because it only works when the throttle is shut.

It wouldn't be possible on a diesel as there's no throttle plate.

Is that really necessary on a road car? Surely there must be some sort of legal implications with driving a car that spits out flames on a regular basis.

I think most anti-lag kits are fitted on a switch so it could be used on a road car

The engine and turbo would have a severely reduced lifespan.
