i need some good front dampers then some lightweight antics. Take it to knockhill see how she gets on then take it from there, decide what i wanna do. I want to teach the gf the driving side of things with it so that will be my main objective with it as well as having fun

take out the sound deadning before getting seat mounts made

unless they are easy removed, ken

what a chunter cunt of a job sounddeadning can be.

Just use the thing, dont spend heaps or cash/time prepping! You get much more satisfaction feeling how the things you do improve the car.

oh.... We have just booked Knockhill for 4hrs on Sat 1st Nov. Thats a date for your hols, and a target to get that thing on track.

toot toot

oh... I have an Alu light weight battery cage/tray if you want it?

BUT - to be honest i'd get a Redtop 15 or similar bat and a wee red box... looks a bit better, and it lighter

AK, all i'm doing is fitting the seats on the original removable seat rails (got a set of standard sliders from persleys for Neil to play with) so they will be easily removed. Once i get the car back from Neil this weekend i'll get started on removing the weight on the floor. we're also doing it in stages so i can see how things work differently as i go. Saturday on that date is a hassle for me it will have to be Sunday or Monday around then.
