Has anyone else having a holiday or flight cancelled? I booked with thomascook to go to malia next week, and the flights were with XL... Damn

my mate was meant to be going to florida...he paid cas so lost everything...hes looking for flights now

Yeh it's a total nightmare just now, did you friend book directly with XL mate? If he booked with an agent they should still by ATOL or ABTA protected

took me 9 months to get anything back when my opperator when bust whilst I was on holiday

paid for hotel again, taxi to airport (2 hours) again and flights home again, about a grand

didnt get money back for the card fees, phone calls etc, probs £30 out of pocket in the end but I did get it all back after several letters/emails/phone calls
