Went into the bank on Saturday to take out £3k out of my account, and went smoothly enough. Then got home to check my balance and they had taken out the money but then striaght away put it back with a "COR" listed as the payment type

So basically given me 3k cash

Will leave it in the bank account for a few months and see what happens, dont want them to come back and ask for it when i dont have anything to pay them with!

Anyone know how long i should wait to see if i get away with it? Or just go back to the bank and say sorry you've made a mistake heres the 3k? Was going to close my account with them anyways.

I wouldnt move it anywhere as they wont ask for it back and rather just take it.

I once had £450,000 paid into my account by mistake and they just took it out with no warning or explanation.

Leave it for a while, you dont want to spend it or most of it only for the bank to turn round and say you have to pay it back, its their mistake so just wait till/if they notice.

Just leave it, if its still there in 3 months, winner - more than likely it'll be gone by the end of the week though.

Definately don't move it!
