Tbh, most fords iirc are pretty simple, like i know the 2.0 mondeo lumps go straight in a mk3, with out changing any mounts aswell i think.

155bhp for the racing Puma
125bhp for the standard 1.7

The 2.0 Duratec engine is raved about these days. Ask Robin why, as I'm not really sure why At a guess, they are strong engines that can handle good power.

Give Robin a u2u, or call JamSport, their main tuning seems to be done on Ford's

And by MK5, do you mean the 'old' shape, or the current shape pre-facelift?

A lot of people go with the Puma engine yeah.

If even known people to put the Puma engine in the 1.6 Zetec S models. I thought strange just for a 100cc increase, but apparently they are more tuneable. Skies the limit really I guess.

My girlfriend has a Mk4 (pretty much the same as Mk5) with 1.4 16v engine and there is tonnes of space in the engine bay.

Puma engine will go straight in the Zetec S, ST170 or Focus RS engines need a little bit of work but will go in, the Duratec is pretty easy too.

Give us a call, like Deano says, or e-mail info@jam-sport.co.uk and we'll price things up for you.

The Puma engine will be the cheapest though, as it involves the least work.

Hugely tuneable for not a lot of cash, just a set of throttle bodies and you'll see 200bhp, 300bhp without forced induction can be done if you've got the cash, you can have them in 2.0, 2.3 or 2.5 litres, they weigh very little as they're all alloy, they're just really good engines.

How much is your budget, why not buy something allready built as by the time you've bought a zetec s, which you will probably be lookin at 2k+ for a 51 plate alone, then there's the conversion cost etc etc.

ohh i don't need a turbo, i don't think i would be able to afford that!!!

i know corsa's don't have good handling and that's what i want with a good engine.
