I'm pretty sure if it's got no mot or tax it has to be towed on a trailer man, how long a journey is it?

no it wont be legal but there is a roundabout way of doing this if the car is drivable and the driver has insurance
book and MOT at you local garage for the car your picking up, its legal for you to drive the car to the mot station and home again, if i remeber right theres no rule on how far away the mot station is

spot on craig, there is no mile limit for the garage, what i have done previously is booked it in at a garage and drove it home with insurance.
