If a car is registered CAT D, which is i believe, damaged but repairable, do u have to pay extra to insure it? I was thinking about getting either a cat d or a spares/repairs car, stripping it completely down as a project and then rebuilding it. I have hardly any mechanical experience, so it will prob take ages to do!!! Just an idea for when I have more pennies to rub togeva.
