crap mpg

400 miles to a tank, i can get 400 if motorway driving at 70-75 and 480 if i realy try

a derv should do 600miles to a tank

Depends if that is driving at 70-75mph, it has the right gear box and if he drives like it's stolen, which I think is probably the case.

You can get 400 motorway as yours is a 1.0 12v mate (is thats the car your on about ).

1.7 diesel will not usually do 600 miles to a tank, especially with the air-filter and all that, plus its been changed over and tweaked etc. Corsa tanks arent that big afterall are they.

Most Modern 1.6 diesels dont catch over 600 miles to a tank.

Its a sweet car i think

Its mine....whats it worth then?? Do you know of any other td with that spec, The MPG is good IMO as it is driven enthusiastically (not on motorways) and its 116bhp and 175lb ft....

My Astra has a 52L tank.... I've only managed to get over 400 miles to a tank once. Even then when i filled up i put 49.5L back in the tank.... I was bricking it that time

steve how the hell do you only get 400 in your astra? I have the same and if i drive like a mong i get AT LEAST 400 edit- from the pics i would have that tomorrow, although can imagine its had a hard life so i wouldnt spend any money on it
