it sarted life as a l reg 1.4 sri all that has been done so far is seam welded and engine put it and runing wat esles do i need to do apart form bigger brakes

I'm no expert in this, but I would say at least strip it right out and get a decent suspension setup?

strip it
get all none required wires out
decent suspension
rear ARB
roll cage (not a must really)
Bucket seats
harnesses
probably better get oil pressure/temp gauges to keep an eye on things
put battery in the back
maybe some fibre glass wings/bonnet, i would say don't get a fibre glass boot because technically you want more weight at the back on a FWD car.
maybe even take the dash out.

then get used to it before losing more weight with GRP wings/bonnet/boot (fuck off with CF, its too expensive to use)

Check my project thread mate,

U2U me if you want any carbon fibre products as mike at performance-trim is very busy and cant get back to his U2U's right now. I will sort it all out for you.
