It's also more accurate than a gearbox feed, but you're not strictly legal if you're not recording miles.

Yup, factory speedos are about 10% off iirc.

Will still pass an MOT with no speedo cable though.

just tried it....works

Menu operation is a bit dodgy screen goes dodgy and stuff but speed etc works

no.

Had 9 Omega's hooked upto a Tech2 this weekend to check, the most they were out was around 3%, the majority of the others were only 1-2% difference.

Same is to be said with majority of the mechanical speedo's.
