RB26 with sequential box in a cerbra

[img]http://i526.photobucket.com/albums/cc345/rocketpepper/ZCars011.jpg?t=1220397018[img]

The black unit you see on the right in the picture is a steering transfer box, necessary because the steering shaft can't run in a straight line to the rack due to the front driveshaft components getting in the way. Such required the steering rack also be rotated so the pinion shaft could redirect to the transfer box.

Modifications for front driveshaft housing.

[quote=Rocket Pepper]Bottom left in the picture you can see the steering shaft exiting the rack and joining to the underside of the Z Cars added transfer box.

A more complete view of the front diff/driveshafts etc. Note to the right the steering transfer box.

Are Cerberas monocoque or is that it's original chassis or what?

It looks pretty tidy though

That's awesome

Any idea what that is next to the Cerbera as well? That doesn't look bike engined either.

Mental project...

But the standard 4.0 V8 is good for 190mph. Surley it would have been more economical and cheaper to install a twin turbocharged system to that engine?

Either way, it'll go like stinky poo off a shovel.

I'd say the RB26 has a lot more tuning potential than the V8.

Is it Nissan transmission to?
